MOLH Annual Chamber Music Concert
A Tradition of Music, Memory, and Meaning
More than twenty years ago, a vision quietly took root—one born not of fanfare, but of love and remembrance. The late Mrs. Muriel Levy created a concert to honor her husband, Dr. Hyman Levy, a devoted cardiologist and violinist, and their son, Jerrold Levy, a passionate flutist. What began as an intimate tribute has blossomed into the Annual Chamber Music Concert of the Musicians of LenoxHill—a gathering of extraordinary musicians who return year after year to celebrate life, memory, and the power of music.
Each performance in this concert series carries the resonance of a legacy-built over decades. On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 7:30 PM, we warmly invite you to TempleIsrael of the City of New York for an evening of chamber music that promises to uplift, move, and inspire.
The program includes works by Fiorillo, Bloch, Achron, Ravel, Dvořák, and Prokofiev—each selected not only for its musical beauty but for the story it tells. These are pieces that evoke longing, resilience, joy, and a profound sense of connection.
The performers—Soo-Kyung Park (flute), Emilie-Anne Gendron & Anna Elashvili (violins), Andy Lin (viola), Sean Katsuyama (cello), and Yeontaek Oh (piano)—are more than collaborators; they are a family. Many of them first met as students at Juilliard, and their shared history infuses this event with a rare kind of warmth and authenticity.
This concert is not simply a performance—it’s a celebration of legacy, of friendship, and of music’s enduring ability to bring people together across generations. We hope you’ll be part of it.
