New York Flutists in Concert

The National Flute Association’s 52nd Annual Convention in San Antonio, TX

New York Flutists was founded in 2018 with a shared vision of bringing the enchanting sounds of the flute family to a wide variety of audiences. The ensemble’s mission was dedicated to reaching new patrons through engaging and innovative programming.

The musicians of New York Flutists studied at prestigious conservatories across the United States and abroad. Many served as faculty members at various institutions of higher education in New York while maintaining active solo, chamber, and orchestral careers that spanned from New York to California and East Asia.

In August 2019, New York Flutists was showcased at the 47th National Flute Association convention in Salt Lake City. The ensemble returned to the 52nd National Flute Association convention in August 2024 in San Antonio, where it performed a world premiere piece by composer James Ra. New York Flutists performed extensively around New York City and collaborated with world-renowned musicians, including Mindy Kaufman and Keith Underwood.
